How do I book?
Use the booking form on this page, pick your sport, night, time and duration, and it writes the WhatsApp message for you with the slot and the rate already filled in. Send it, and Zone 36 will confirm whether the slot is free. You can also just message 0317 3053600 directly.
Do I have to pay in advance?
A Rs 500 advance holds your booking, and it comes off the total. The rest is paid at the venue. The advance is not refunded if you cancel, so please tell Zone 36 as early as you can if your plans change.
How late can we play?
Zone 36 runs from 2 PM straight through to 2 AM, every day. After-midnight sessions are normal here, and the floodlights are on for all of them.
Why are evening slots more expensive?
Evening slots run under full floodlights, and running them costs money, so anything from 6 PM onwards is priced a little higher than the 2 PM to 6 PM daytime hours. You do not have to choose: the booking form applies the right rate for the time you pick, and Zone 36 will confirm it.
Do you provide bats, balls and rackets?
Yes, all of it, at no extra charge. Bats, balls and padel racquets are provided and you hand them back at the end. Bring your own if you prefer, but you do not need to.
I've never played padel. Can I still book?
Yes. Padel is the easiest racket sport to start. It's doubles, the serve is underarm, and the walls are part of the game. Most people are playing proper points inside ten minutes.
Here's the short version of the rules.
How many people can play?
Padel is four players, two a side. The cricket arena has no player limit, so bring whatever size group you have. It is a tape ball arena.
Is there parking?
Yes, and it is free, but the street outside is narrow so there are only a few spaces. If you are coming as a group, it is worth sharing cars.
Are there washrooms?
There is a washroom with a hand basin outside it. There is no separate changing room, so most people change in the washroom.
Are women and families welcome?
Yes. There is a 90 minute family package where the whole arena is reserved for your family alone, which a lot of people book for privacy. Women can also book an ordinary slot at any time.
Is there anything to eat or drink?
There is a water cooler for drinking water. A cafe inside the arena is being worked on.
Can I book a regular weekly slot or a tournament?
Yes, and it's worth asking. Regular groups, corporate nights and tournaments are all doable, message on WhatsApp with what you have in mind.
