At Zone 36 in Jeddah Town, the cricket arena is Rs 1,500 an hour between 2 PM and 6 PM, and Rs 2,500 an hour from 6 PM to 2 AM under floodlights. Two hours is Rs 2,500 or Rs 4,000, and three hours is Rs 4,000 or Rs 6,000.

Enclosed, so nothing stops play.

The whole playing area is wrapped in netting, sides and overhead. Nothing leaves the ground, nobody goes looking for the ball in the dark, and a mishit does not end the over. The surface is artificial turf with a blue pitch strip laid down the middle, which gives you consistent, predictable bounce whatever the weather has been doing.

It sits alongside the padel court on the same site in Jeddah Town, so a bigger group can split across both and swap over.

Do you provide bats and balls?

Message Zone 36 on WhatsApp before you come and ask what is available that night, so you know whether to bring your own kit.

Tape ball or hard ball?

Tell Zone 36 what you are planning when you book, what is suitable depends on the session and how many of you there are. Most groups in an enclosed arena play tape ball.

How many people can play?

Anything from a handful having a net up to a full side. Send your numbers and the format you want in your WhatsApp message and they will tell you what fits.

Can we book the same slot every week?

Ask. Regular groups are exactly what a new ground wants, and it is worth having that conversation directly rather than booking week by week.

What happens if it rains?

The surface is artificial turf, so it drains and plays far better than grass would. Message Zone 36 on the night if the weather looks bad and they will tell you where things stand.
